I am Sarah Hanson, a senior at St. Pius X
High School, participating in the Grade 12 University Mentorship course. The
class I am helping is a grade 10 applied science class with the teacher being
Dr. Bilaniuk.
Sarah’s Adventures in Mentorship is to
document the assignments I am given each week, along with anything else I see
fit. The assignments will deal with observations of the classroom I am in, how
students are different, students in general, teaching techniques and myself.
The other blog posts will be an array of what is fitting to the course with
some personal blog posts of my choosing like quotes I like, music I am
listening to at the moment, how senior year is going and more. I hope that you
read these posts with an open mind and leave feeling as though you know a part
of me.

My friends and I at the St. Pius X Annual Terry Fox Day.
A group shot of the students and teachers, minus one teacher who is taking the photo, who went on the 2015 El Salvador Social Justice Trip.
